What's changing?

  • Fibre Up will provide your Avington internet service and, where applicable, phone service from 1 October 2026.
  • For billing, support, faults or complaints relating to your Fibre Up service, you’ll contact Fibre Up directly

What’s staying the same?

  • Your existing internet speed will stay the same at the time of transfer.
  • Your current package and monthly price will stay the same at the time of transfer.
  • If you already have a phone service, Fibre Up expects your existing phone number to remain unchanged.
  • Existing compatible equipment will continue to be used where practicable.
  • Your electricity service is not supplied by Fibre Up and is not affected by your Fibre Up telecommunications service.

Good to know

Unlimited data

All Avington internet plans include unlimited data, with no excess data usage charges for normal residential use.

Month-to-month service

For existing Avington customers transferred to Fibre Up, services are provided on a month-to-month basis with no minimum contract period and no Early Termination Fee.

Your equipment

Existing compatible equipment will continue to be used where practicable.

If replacement equipment or additional work is required, Fibre Up will let you know about any applicable charges before carrying out chargeable work

Phone services

If your plan includes phone service, please note that it relies on powered telecommunications equipment. During a power outage, your phone service may not work, including calls to Triple Zero (000). We recommend keeping a charged mobile phone available for emergency calls.

Calls

If your plan includes phone service, local calls, national landline calls, Australian mobile calls, 13 and 1300 numbers, and 1800 numbers are included.

International and premium service calls are charged separately. Please refer to the International Call Rates document for international pricing.
